As the Office Manager, it is my responsibility to ensure all of our systems are followed correctly and maintained, from purchase ledger, sales ledger through to the effective functioning of our various IT systems

When I joined ALM in 2014, I didn’t really have a great deal of administrative experience although I was part way through my Leadership and Management FdA Degree at Teesside University.  In September 2017 I finished my BA (Hons) Leadership and Business Management degree at Newcastle University and received a 1st class. Working alongside Lesley, I have learned through real experience, the systems and procedures needed to run an efficient and profitable company. 

I now work with a lot of autonomy although support is always at hand if I need it. Every day brings new opportunities and it’s fair to say, the days never drag! One day I might be doing credit control, the next I can be developing marketing literature with Tony, setting up web site pages or updating our social media pages with news and articles.

I’m part of a small team who all get on really well with each other and that makes for a nice atmosphere in the office although, to be honest, everyone in the business gets on well with each other and it’s like one big happy family when we get to socialise on company days out.

When I’m not working I enjoy socialising, looking after my horse and competing in horse trials, dressage, show jumping and cross country.
